Machine Works Industrial is an Engineering, fabrication, technical services and field services company that has been providing services throughout Alberta for the past seven years. Machine Works was originally a portable machining and hydro testing company until three years ago when it was expanded to encompass all aspects of fabrication, diversifying the Company's services to meet the growing needs of our clientele.  Machine works has a fenced secure 7 acre yard with a 14,000 sq. ft. shop that houses the fabrication and machining divisions, in addition Machine Works has access to a 26,000 sq. ft. shop and 60 acre modular facility,  all located just off of highway 15 on the Northeast side Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.  Our location provides excellent access to shipping corridors.

Machine Works Industrial has an approved quality management system, a certificate of authorization issued by ABSA and is certified Division 2 under the Canadian Welding Bureau.

Al has been the President of Machine works Industrial since the expansion in 2012. Al has over 25 year experience in the Oil & Gas Industry and has held such positions as VP of Operations, Project Manager, Quality Control Manager, Planner, Construction Supervisor, and Construction. Al is a graduate of University of Calgary where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree and has  completed several industry and management courses to further his personal development.

Jody joined Machine works in June 2013 as the Operations Manager. Jody is a Journeyman Red Seal Steamfitter/Pipefitter and has an extensive background in fabrication and facility construction. Jody has completed numerous estimating and management courses and has the proven ability to lead large groups and complete jobs on time and within budget.

Paul has been the Business Development Manager at Machine Works Industrial since 2012. Paul has over 20 years of management experience in such positions as Construction Supervisor at Cenovus Energy and District Manager at AM-CON Industrial services. Paul has extensive supervisory, management and sales training. 

Rick Brower joined Machine Works Industrial in 2018. He is highly valued Construction Professional with over 35 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry as a Construction Manager, Senior Project Manager and in various other leadership capacities. Rick has extensive senior management experience in major organizations in Green and Brown field projects, in both execution and management.

Usman joined Machine Works Industrial in 2017 as the Director of Engineering, Project Services and Strategic Development. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Province of Alberta. Usman brings in 24 years of experience in Telecommunications, Oil and Gas and Infrastructure projects. His major contributions over two decades  is with Motorola, Telus, Suncor, Stuart Olson,  Lockerbie & Hole, Aecon, Worley Parsons and Royal Dutch Shell, where he had the opportunity to manage both conventional and In-Situ Projects. Usman holdsa M.S. degree in Electrical, B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finanace from USA . He is an enterpreneur and has contributed to startup strategies.
